Check Your Amazon Backend Search Terms
You get 249 bytes of hidden keywords, and every word already in your title or bullets is a wasted one. Paste both below to see what you're throwing away — that check is free, needs no account, and runs entirely in your browser. Pro then finds the terms shoppers actually search that your listing never says, ranked by real search volume.

Backend Search Terms FAQ
What are backend search terms?
A hidden field in Seller Central where you can add extra keywords that don't fit naturally in your title, bullets, or description. Amazon indexes them for search but never shows them to shoppers.
What should I actually put in there?
Search terms you want to rank for but can't fit into your visible copy: synonyms shoppers use instead of your wording (earphones vs earbuds), common misspellings, foreign-language terms for your marketplace, and use-cases like gym or travel. What doesn't belong is anything already in your title or bullets — Amazon indexed those the moment you published, so repeating them there buys you nothing and burns bytes you only get 249 of.
Why does the byte limit matter?
Amazon cuts off backend search terms at 249 bytes — not characters. Accented letters and some symbols take up more than one byte each, so a term that looks short can quietly push you over the limit.
Why avoid repeating words from my title or bullets?
Amazon already indexes the words in your visible copy. Repeating them in your backend terms wastes bytes you could spend on synonyms, misspellings, or translated terms shoppers actually search instead.
Is this connected to the SEO Audit?
It's the one thing the main audit can't check on its own — Amazon doesn't expose a listing's backend terms publicly, so there's no way to score them from a live page. This tool fills that gap using what you paste in directly. It also runs automatically on anything the AI Copy Rewriter generates for you.
