Competitor Compare questions
How does the comparison work?
Each listing gets the exact same audit the SEO Audit page runs (live data plus AI grading against the 12-criteria rubric) and the scores are lined up side by side so you can see which categories the winner is winning in.
How many audits does a comparison use?
One per listing: comparing 2 listings uses 2 audits, comparing 3 uses 3. Same metering as running them through the SEO Audit one at a time.
Can I compare listings from different marketplaces?
No. All the listings in one comparison are audited on the marketplace you pick, because the same ASIN can carry different content and a different score in each country. Compare competitors from the storefront you actually sell in.
What does a dash (—) in the comparison mean?
That criterion couldn't be verified for that listing, usually Prime eligibility, which Amazon doesn't always report. It's left out of that listing's score rather than counted as a fail, so the scores stay comparable.
Which competitors should I compare against?
The listings directly above you in search results for your main keyword. If they rank higher with a weaker content score, your gap is likely reviews, price, or sales velocity instead, which is also useful to know.
