What it looks like
Live, but invisible in search.
A suppressed listing still has a product page. It just never shows up when shoppers search, until the field Amazon names is fixed.
- 1
Find the reason
Seller Central: Manage All Inventory, filtered by Search Suppressed. Each listing names the field Amazon wants changed.
- 2
Fix that field
Edit the listing, or the flat file for many at once. Fix the field Amazon named, not just the one you suspect.
- 3
Back in search
Once Amazon accepts the change, the listing returns to results. If it doesn't, check the reason again: it can change.

And which ones our tools flag before Amazon does.
- 01
Title over the limit or breaking style rules
Longer than 75 characters, promotional words, decorative symbols or a keyword repeated too often.
We catch itThe audit scores title length and style; the checker names each rule.
- 02
Main image problems
A missing main image, or one that isn't on a pure white background or carries text, logos or a watermark.
PartlyThe audit checks the gallery; the AI image audit (Pro) checks the main image itself.
- 03
Missing required attributes
Every category has required fields (brand, size, color, material and so on). Leaving one empty can suppress the listing until it's filled in.
Not checkedOnly Seller Central shows which required fields are empty.
- 04
Restricted claims or wording
Health and medical claims, pesticide claims, or words Amazon flags for the category.
We catch itThe listing requirements checker flags them in your copy.
- 05
Price outside Amazon's reference range
A price far above what Amazon considers fair for the product can lose the Buy Box or hide the offer.
Not checkedPricing isn't part of the listing audit.
Search suppressed listings questions
What does search suppressed mean on Amazon?
The listing is active but hidden from search results, usually because it's missing required information or breaks a listing rule. Shoppers can't find it by searching until the problem is fixed.
How do I find out why my listing is suppressed?
In Seller Central, filter Manage All Inventory by Search Suppressed, or open the listing quality page under Inventory. Each suppressed listing shows the field Amazon wants changed.
Can your audit tell me why I'm suppressed?
Not the exact reason: that's only shown in your Seller Central account. Our audit reads the public product page, so it can flag the content problems that commonly cause suppression (the title, the gallery, restricted claims) if the page still opens by its URL, and it's best used to catch them before a listing gets suppressed.
How long does it take for a fixed listing to come back?
Once Amazon accepts the corrected listing, it returns to search, though that isn't always immediate. If it stays suppressed, check Seller Central again: the reason shown may have changed.
